Before you submit your guest post for review, please take a moment to read through our guidelines to ensure your contribution meets our standards and expectations.
Our Audience
We have 2 distinct audience segments:
1 – Black female copywriters
Our copywriters at various stages of their careers, from beginners to seasoned professionals. They come to us for tips, strategies, industry insights, and inspiration to help them succeed in their careers as copywriters.
2 – Business owners and entrepreneurs looking for black female copywriters
Business owners come to us to find copywriters for their projects. Any content we write for them should help them find the right person for their project or provide them with general copywriting or marketing tips, strategies, and insights to help them succeed in their business.
Content We Love
Educational Articles: Pieces that offer actionable advice, step-by-step guides, and insights into copywriting techniques and strategies.
Industry Insights: Articles that explore trends, changes, and forecasts in the copywriting and broader marketing industry.
Case Studies: Real-life examples of successful copywriting projects, including the challenges faced and the solutions implemented.
Career Advice: Tips for career growth, finding clients, portfolio building, and personal branding in the field of copywriting.
Submission Process
Pitch First: Before writing your full article, please submit a brief pitch outlining the topic and key points you plan to cover. This helps us ensure your article fits our content strategy.
Approval: If your pitch is approved, we will contact you with further instructions, including a submission deadline.
Submission: Submit your article by the agreed deadline, following the formatting and submission guidelines provided.
Review: Our editorial team will review your submission. We may request revisions to ensure the article meets our standards for quality and coherence.
Publication: Once your article is finalized, we will schedule it for publication. You will be notified of the publication date.
Formatting and Style
Length: Articles should be between 800 and 1500 words.
Originality: All submissions must be original content that hasn’t been published elsewhere.
Tone: Our blog maintains a professional yet approachable tone. Be informative but engaging, using clear and concise language.
Formatting: Use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs to make the article easy to read.
References: Cite all sources and provide links to relevant studies, data, or articles.
Images: Include high-quality images or graphics that complement your article. Ensure you have the rights to use them.
Editorial Policies
Editorial Discretion: We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, and style. Significant changes will be reviewed with the author before publication.
No Promotional Content: While we allow authors to include a brief bio and a link to their website or social media profiles, the article itself should not be promotional or self-serving.
